  Re: Tricerablock's horns

(...) Now here's a question... The horns they use for the Tricerablocks & Moo-men/Longhorns/Ox...s/whatever are the same as those used in the Islanders sets (or so I'd imagine). Now the Islanders sets came with the horns mounted on the little (...) (25 years ago, 11-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.castle)

  Re: New Castle Idea

(...) It would be cool, but I'd rather LEGO limited their licensed building sets. Less is more in this case. I'd much rather see cool MOC LoTR. Steve (25 years ago, 11-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: New Castle Idea

(...) I'm just finishing The Hobbit and about to start Lord of the Rings, and I agree that it would make a fantastic subject for Lego Castle. Even with existing parts, one could start a descent Hobbit theme. I know: no Goblins, but perhaps Elves (...) (25 years ago, 11-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: New Castle Idea

(...) It might be hard to make the differences obvious, considering all the races would have to be the same size. I would like to see Lego do a LotR theme, since they could produce the specialized pieces that would be needed. Such as: -bushy hobbit (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: New Castle Idea

(...) I'm working on it... <grin> As soon as my next shipment of red plates gets here, I should be able to complete my model of Smaug. He's more-or-less at minifig scale, sitting ~75 studs long or so. Of course, artisic liscence prevails, since I (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  1680

Has anyone come across this set as I can't find it on Kevin Loch's site?. It is from 1990 and is a small cart with 3 Forest People/Robin Hood figures. (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Tricerablock's horns

(...) Sure looks like it to me. They were also in some of the Wild West sets, I think. (...) Anyone buy Fort Legoredo or Amazon Crossing (I think they showed up in there as well)? How were the horns packaged in there? If they were on the rings, I'll (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.castle)

  Re: New Castle Idea

Set ideas? Here's a few: Mordor Swamps--small set in a deeply forested area with a river running through it. Trees are black. Brick-heighth baseplates are put on either side of a row of 2 green plates stacked on one another, then trans-green peices (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: New Castle Idea

(...) The Bat Lord's helmet keeps reminding me of "The Mouth of Sauron"'s helmet seen in the animated version of "The Return of the King". :-) Elliot (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Tricerablock's horns

(...) I have Fort Legoredo and Amazon crossing. I think they may have just been loose pieces. I'm not certain, though. I can, however, say with a fair amount of certainty that they weren't on a ring with that feathery piece like in the Islander (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.castle)

  Re: New Castle Idea

(...) Your ideas are excellent! My only change would be to substitute Smaug for Ancalagon. How about Bag End? A big, rounded green hill with windows and doors sticking out. Comes with Bilbo and Frodo. The Prancing Pony: A medieval-looking inn with a (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

Can anyone find out what color on the MTT???

I think the extreme corners are gray but they could be dark gray, with the colors so close with their stupid lighting!! can anyone call or know someone who can find out for sure. I would hate to waste many hours on Ldraw and find out they are the (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

David Eaton wrote in message ... (...) It (...) I am thinking of carts, either 1877 (90) or 1974 (89) each has 2 figures - but why does 1680 sound familiar??? 1877 was in a Valupack (1675) and 1974 was in a Valupack (1974). Are you saying I am (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Bullboys, Moomen, or Longhorns?

(...) Yeah, it doesn't really belong in .general without some more explanation probably... most likely more fit for .castle... The "debate" is over the potential name of the new series being released for 2000 in the castle theme. Since no names are (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)
