Nick-
What you posted here is what a lot of people call a "spoiler"- it could
potentially spoil part of the story for people who haven't read the first Harry
Potter book. With the announcement of the Harry Potter Lego sets and the
discussions that took place afterwards, a lot of people on Lugnet indicated
that they would like people to put in Spoiler warnings to avoid learning
anything about the story before they have a chance to read it.
That doesn't mean you can't talk about stuff, though- just put the word
"SPOILER" in the subject and then, if you're feeling extra nice, leave some
space at the top of the message as extra warning. Then, no one who reads
anything they didn't want to know can blame you- after all, you gave them
plenty of warning.
(For the record, I finished the first one before the announcement was made and
I'm currently reading the second).
Thanks,
eric

| Does anyone have any thoughts of what the harry potter figures look like. I have some ideas, but am pretty clueless about making a Voldamort from the first book. Mabey they'll actually print on both sides of a head. NICK #:^O (24 years ago, 2-Aug-00, to lugnet.castle)
