(...) That would be a good way to use up some of those crossbows I've aquired recently. When I start using the ship in my stories, I plan on having "crossbow-gunners" set at stations around the deck. Wilson (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs

(...) That crystal would look really good in there, the only problem is that I don't have one. I'll probably get one if some of the Rock Raiders sets ever go one clearance. (...) Great idea, I'll have to incorporate that into my giant cave I'm going (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

<big snippage> (...) Disliked!? What? Granted, VII could never hold a torch to III or V, but it was still more than worthy of the FF title. Tell me, what exactly did you dislike about it, other than the horrible looking and disproportionate 3D (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs

(...) Rock Raiders have 'em. :) (...) Technically, those are SPUDs, not POOPs. :) I prefer the alternate SPUD definition for the boat hulls, though: Single Purpose *Useful* Device. :) Jeff (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs

Hi Wilson, I like the design of your ship, but I have one suggestion. IMO, your ship needs a trans-fluoro-green crystal piece right in the middle of your crystal room. It's like one you'd get in an Aquazone set (although those are chromed). I'm not (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Early Castle Wall Components Musings...

(...) All I can respond with is, expanding a castle, such as 6073 with the other Lego wall components is an ungainly and an unpleasent site. Because of the actual castle set's very nature (6073) you end up with 2 sides of a walled city or keep that (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: NELUG's 2nd Window display at The Construction Site in Waltham MA

(...) Thanks! I had been trying to remember what set I got those "turret" pieces from. I knew they were from a Star Wars set, and I only had two of these pieces, which helped narrow it down a bit.
