I just saw a close up of one of the new Viking minifigs on 1000steine.de today: (URL) This Norseman looks bad to the bone! Word. Posted a few more pics to my brickshelf account. (URL) built this out of the white mountainside BUMPs that are included in 7417 (x2) & 7412 (x4 or 5), and dark grey bumps from 4709 (x2).   Three Trunk Tree and Tall Thin Tree
 
Here's a three-trunk tree that I built for my railway layout: (URL) I used 2L black technic liftarms to attach more flex tubes to the central one. The white blobs underneath are geese! You're right. Good catch (also to Ray on the LURP). Do you think this is actually two different tones of plastic, or something we could all duplicate with existing trees and a can of white spraypaint (I suspect the latter)? Anyone else think the (...)   Mediterranean Windmill
 
This is a windmill based on one I photographed in Fuerteventura¹. I made it a while ago and tried to photograph it then, but these pictures are a bit better. Here's a spiral staircase for those of you who do stately homes or castles. You might like to make a mirror image pair of them for a mansion. (...) Indeed, as I've often suspected. If you examine a castler closely you're likely to find a spacer hidden or locked within. (Or, perhaps, bricked in...) That's an excellent use of parts, Bruce. Even though (I think) Space > Castle, Castle is still a good theme, and I like to induldge myself in it every so often. The other day in French class, my teacher said our big project for this term (counting for 50% of the term's mark) will be to (...)
