Hi Jon,
Ozbricks has been really good to me. For a while they were having problems with
their secondary ozbricks.net server, which was up and down, but after my site
got moved over to the main ozbricks.com server there has been no problem.
Unfortunately, the owners of Ozbricks have had health problems:

so they are no longer selling. They said that the hosted fan sites will stay up
for the forseeable future, but I fear that I might have to move at some point if
that changes.
Thanks on the Mumakil. I've had a real argument with myself on that. I've seen
a lot of great elephants made of bricks (see my animal links page here:
http://www.classic-castle.com/howto/articles/brickbeasts.html ), and I'm
generally happier with brick-built creations rather than molded juniorized
parts. So I wasn't going to get the elephants, but then I found a couple of
those Adventurers sets on deep discount. So I've put off thinking about it for
now, but when I get to that part I'll have these two elephants staring at me.
I've been running fairly quiet on the Tolkien project lately--it's been since
October since I've actually put up a new chapter. However, I have been
building. The problem is that right now I'm building locations around Minas
Tirith. There are nine chapters that take place in/around MT. Each of those
chapters uses several locations, and each location gets used in several
chapters. So I basically won't be able to put up any of these chapters until I
put up all of them at once.
So, do you have any Tolkien MOCs in the pipeline?

| (...) I always go for pre fab stuff if I can get it, I think It helps the minifigs look more realistic in the setting. I mean if you've got an articulated Minifig next to a blocky blob of grey bricks, I think it kinda throws the whole look off (...) (20 years ago, 1-Jul-04, to lugnet.castle)
