Hi all, A while ago, I had asked around for some advice on raising models. Well, I gave it a go with various methods and this was the outcome......... (URL) still have a heap of pics to upload. [1] I love the fact that the castle is elevated on a hill made from green bricks, which it turn lies on a terrain of tan sand bricks, which in turn lie an blue water baseplates. That is (...) Hi Dave, This is wonderful. I love the scale and details of your castle and town. The castle details like buttresses and crenelations are great. (...) Excellent! I'm a fan of big castles, and of using real terrain, and you have done both together. The result shows the effectiveness of doing it - not all of the buildings are on the same flat level. I can't wait to see pictures of the (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jan-04, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Thank you Ben. I have always been a sucker for the Tudor on Grey. I just feel it brings realism to the overall look. Since I had more red slopes than Black, I was going to fill the Castle with red roofs, but I just dont feel it would give the (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jan-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)
