   Hi Dave,

This is wonderful. I love the scale and details of your castle and town. The castle details like buttresses and crenelations are great. I really like the tudor additions onto the upper levels of the castle.

Thank you Ben. I have always been a sucker for the Tudor on Grey. I just feel it brings realism to the overall look. Since I had more red slopes than Black, I was going to fill the Castle with red roofs, but I just dont feel it would give the same affect as Black does. Thank you Bricklink..........

The water is nice - I have been thinking of using blue bricks for water also.

I was going to use blue plates, but the rest of the foundation would have to have been changed and I wasnt prepared to go there. I think using the bricks kept it more uniformed, if thats the word Im looking for.

   Your town details look great.

Finally, I really like lion keeps :) The invading forestmen creeping up on villagers and encircling the castle are great.

To be Honest, Originally I had set out to make a Falcons Castle, not sure what put me out a long the way.

Constructive criticism: The landscaping is a bit blocky - adding a few small green plates (1x2 and 1x3) would help.

Looking back at the pics, I would have to strongly agree with you, especially around the Castle. Even though this was my first attempt at Landscaping, the next time I give it a go, I really want to throw in a lot of green, brown and Dk grey slopes, not only to make it look more realistic, but also to gain more Height.

The tudor house with red brick and a red roof - maybe a different color roof would look better.

Just to let you know - your moc has already sparked discussion at CC: http://www.classic-castle.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=395

Thanks for building such an impressive castle moc!

I am not that Great on the PC, I still have a lot to learn, let alone figuring out how to use a Digi camera and uploading pics to Brickshelf, I havent really explored any other sites. I am aware of the CC site, but I never knew discussions took place there. I guess you learn something new everyday. I will have to attempt a post there. Thanks for letting me know Ben.........
