Hi all,

A while ago, I had asked around for some advice on raising models. Well, I gave
it a go with various methods and this was the outcome.............

I still have a heap of pics to upload. Just kind of got the outer pics up first.
Once I get some time I will get the rest on. Just need to Create a web page and
place a story to go. All in good time I guess........

Excellent! I'm a fan of big castles, and of using real terrain, and you
have done both together. The result shows the effectiveness of doing it -
not all of the buildings are on the same flat level. I can't wait to see
pictures of the interiour. You have a *lot* of those 1x3 arches - the
effect you got with them is great!

Thank you Chris. I too have always been a fan of large scale Castles. I have
never attempted a realistic approach to Terrain before, this was all kind of new
to me. Just looking at a lot of pics posted at Brickshelf and a heap of Castle
Fan websites, did I get the idea on where to start. It always looked kind of
easy to do, but I got a rude shock when I got half way through it. I think from
now on I will be giving more Credit to those Landscaped MOCs.

Hopefully I will get some pics up on the interior very shortly. I just have to
resize them all to 800 x 600 for easier viewing.

Is there a story to go along with the person (child?) underneath the
bridge in the village?

There is kind of a story to the Fella under the Bridge. If you notice around the
red tudor house with the Black roof, there are soldiers ready to do a raid,
whilst the forestmen are sneaking up on them, this guy and his brother under the
bridge are getting the treasure everybody is looking for.

Cheers,

Dave
