        Re: Brown Forestmen —James Brown
(...) If it is a brown figure, with a wolf's head emblem, it would have come from the Wolfpack sub-theme. I don't actually recall any brown "forestmen" (URL) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.castle)

         Re: Brown Forestmen —Richard Manzo
(...) regular red, blue, black, or all green tops it is brown. I checked all of the forestmen sets in the pause database but no brown forestmen. I am starting to think that i have a mistake on my hands here. Rich (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.castle)

(...) database (...) We had quite a discussion on this on lugnet.cad.dev (see (URL) when I did the torso for LDraw. I think the concensus was that there are a whole range of "reds" from crimson through maroon to brown. Maybe you just have one end of (...) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.castle)

When I opened the lego set I realized that it was previously opened and it contained 16 forestmen and various forestmen parts. (a dream come (...) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.castle)

           Re: Brown Forestmen —David Eaton
(...) Umm... what lego set was it? Was it a castle themed set (I'm guessing yes)? Was it "supposed" to be a Dark Forest set? Were there other extra/replaced/used/etc pieces in it? Were any pieces in polybags? My guess is, that since there were so (...) (25 years ago, 6-Oct-99, to lugnet.castle)

          Re: Brown Forestmen —Dan Moquin
(...) Are the notches squared off or are they pointed? I think this would point out whether it was a classic forestman or from the newer Dark Forest line. Dan (25 years ago, 6-Oct-99, to lugnet.castle)

          Re: Brown Forestmen —Richard Manzo
(...) The collar constists of notched off squares just like any other classic forestmen. Rich (25 years ago, 6-Oct-99, to lugnet.castle)

          Re: Brown Forestmen —Dan Moquin
(...) Better yet - pop his head and legs off, turn his arms backwards and just put his torso on the scanner. Dan (25 years ago, 6-Oct-99, to lugnet.castle)

          Re: Brown Forestmen —Richard Manzo
(...) Ill do that but I wont have time till this weekend. As soon as its done ill post it Rich (25 years ago, 6-Oct-99, to lugnet.castle)

         Re: Brown Forestmen —Larry Pieniazek
This seems a case for the Fibblesnork(tm) guide rather than pause. if you can find the fig in Fibblesnork you can find what sets he is in. For example; This fig (URL) in the sets listed. If you chase the URL you'll get the contents of THAT frame and (...) (25 years ago, 6-Oct-99, to lugnet.castle)

For Larry and people who were trying to deal with the frames problem Larry encountered while searching for a certain figure (2), I put up this page that I made when I first downloaded the Fibblesnork Lego guide. I would expect that if it were the case that the forestmen fig was *intended* to be brown, that the arms at least would easily be distinguishable from the red, since the arms are actually made from the same ABS plastic as the other brown lego (...)
