  Hi all,

         Here is 'The Old Mill':

            http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=40120

It once was a working mill, but that put a strain on certain pieces,
so it was sold to a retired black falcon soldier who promptly ripped out the
interior and created this beautiful house...

    Hi,

Hello (excuse my procrastination to reply),

No problem... Most of my replys are late...

Well, after taking a look at it, I'm happy to
say I was pleased with the design, particularly
its blocky feel to it since this technique gives
the model a more 'built' from scratch feeling.

Thanks! This is my first attempt at 'brick landscape'...

The scene itself seems to flow quite nicely,
and the only real improvements I could see
would be replacing the white door with a grey
or brown color, and changing some of the windows
around to match.

This was built entirely out of a shoebox and a slightly larger box of
pieces, and a white door was the only one I had... That said the lighting in
the pics is very different from real life and the white door looks quite
good in person...

But of course, it seems you placed a lot of
attention to detail, so that's to be expected
of you. I hope to see more models from you
in the future.

Thanks for your comments and there are always more MOCs underway...

Thanks,
