Nicely done, Lenny! This model looks very simple, and conveys the feel of
what you were going for. It looks especially nice with the larg HP style
door (makes me want to buy some HP sets just for that), and I love your
choice of open-air bars for windows, very appropriate for the tech-level of
such buildings. And the tri-fold hinging is cool.
For suggestions, there are just two things I would consider. First, where
does the smoke from the fire-pit go? I see one of the hinges has what looks
like pipes for a chimney outside, but it seems to empty into the eave of the
roof. Maybe if it poked up and over the roof a little it might work better
for me. The other idea I might add would be to include some live animals.
Peasants of that era often housed animals inside the longhouse with them, or
perhaps in a small pen just outside. That would be cool to see. They also
hung dried or cured meats from the rafters for winter storage... if you
wanted to add rafters...
Anyhoo, great job!
