    -CASTLE _4_ EVER- —Richard Noeckel
I'm thinkin’ that Castle-heads are in a real bind! Although I find the 6074 (Black Falcon's Fortress) (URL) be the superior Castle model I'm still gonna vote for the classic 6075 (Yellow Castle) (URL) Why you ask? ¯¯¯...¯¯¯ -Well the original does (...)    (...) Yes sir. (...) Umm.... no, I don't think so. I'll explain further down. (...) Ok, first of all I don't like the Montey Python visor. You can disagree, you are entitled to your opinion, as am I. And I don't like it. I feel it's just too big. (...) (22 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: -CASTLE _4_ EVER- —Adam Murtha
Has anyone from Lego said what the new helmet for 6075 would be? I've browsed through what Jake said but didn't see anything. The only attraction to the 6075 castle for me is the minifigs and gear. If they will not have the same helmets and other (...) (22 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

(...) just be the regular visored helmets that are used in castle nowadays. "If the Yellow Castle becomes a LEGO Legend and is reissued, the knights' helmet and visor would be a little different from the original, updated to be the SAME shapes as (...)          Re: -CASTLE _4_ EVER- —Aaron Dalan
(...) I agree with you. The rerelease of 375 will probably have standard pointy visored knight helmets. But it would be cool to have a red and a white one of those! Plus the armor is cool, and the description doesn't say anything about changing (...) (22 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: -CASTLE _4_ EVER- —Anthony Sava
(...) Has anyone even stopped and considered that by saying 'modern-day LEGO helmets' that they weren't talking about the visored helms we castle heads are familiar with? You all MUST know that the helm base, the "HELMET" part of the visored helm is (...) (22 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: -CASTLE _4_ EVER- —Tony Hafner
(...) Remember that we're talking about LEGO Direct, not the traditional division of LEGO that produces mainstream sets. Up until this point, LEGO Direct's powers have NOT included manufacturing of new parts. They can get current parts in any color (...) (22 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: -CASTLE _4_ EVER- —Richard Marchetti
(...) Small point of contention here (and I am reminded of the recent assertion that the new cypress trees were somehow defective or made of cheaper plastic -- which likewise proved false), but the old style "classic" helmet was of two distinct (...)          Re: -CASTLE _4_ EVER- —Aaron Dalan
(...) I hope you are right because I love the old visors and they cost an arm and a leg and you mostly have to get them from Germany right now. I highly doubt, however, that the phrase 'looking like modern day helmets' in the 375 rerelease (...) (22 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: -CASTLE _4_ EVER- —Richard Marchetti
(...) O, I totally agree. My only purpose in the previous post was to defend the design of the classic helmet -- I do not believe that it is unusually susceptible to damage, I have many classic space sets and some castle figures with both types of (...)           Re: -CASTLE _4_ EVER- —Matt Hein
(...) I got a few of those visors myself, and I have yet to see any damage occur on them. But, I think a newer version of the helmet would look pretty cool. I was hoping in part that the newer version of the visor would be in part like the custom (...) (22 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: -CASTLE _4_ EVER- —Richard Marchetti
(...) These?: (URL) would cinch the deal for me!!! Sadly, this again would require an element mold be made for the element to be put into production. This whole subject makes me crazy... (...) They have it, last seen in the Women's Soccer (Futball!) (...) (22 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: -CASTLE _4_ EVER- —Matt Hein
(...) That would be cool, though! Looks a lot better than the current visor design. (...) Oh, great! Yeah, the subject is confusing enough, but I guess that's why older sets usually aren't considered to become Legends, IMO. <<_Matt Hein_>> Lugnet (...)          Re: -CASTLE _4_ EVER- —Richard Noeckel
I think it’s a guarantee that the Castle ‘helmets’ will be of the current design. (URL) Hop-Frog’s logical statement about the condition of the classic style reinforced-chin strap. (URL) which I agree, I think TLG just changed the helmets to the (...) (22 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: -CASTLE _4_ EVER- —Adam Murtha
Yes, I read it "If the Yellow Castle becomes a LEGO Legend and is reissued, the knights' helmet and visor would be a little different from the original, updated to be the same shapes as modern-day LEGO helmets." What I'm confused about is where is (...) (22 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)
