Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs!

(...) Oh man, you're going to make me count my shoe box full of islanders... 38 babes 184 islanders and Kahukas + a handful not in the shoe box My castle minifigs aren't sufficiently organized to count currently, so a few counts or guesses... (...) (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs!

(...) My numbers in any one theme are hurt by the fact that I'm into so many themes. It does sound like Jimmy may also have more Pirates/Imperials than me (he certainly has more Imperials). I now probably have 1300-1400 Pirates/Imperials/Islanders, (...) (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs!

(...) I'd sell my *dialysis-machine to `see` that!!! *cause I’d already sold my kidney to get a 3075. ;) --==Richard==-- (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs!

(...) Alright, I'm GAME!!! =) (I've been waiting a lonnnnggg time to showcase my Legion…) [I guess this is a call-to-arms for ANYONE with a Castle force greater that 300!] I'll post some advanced pictures of my millennium Legion in all their glory. Here is my first entry: (URL) (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Wolfpack army pics

(...) Impressive!! however, I would have placed my "archers" to the rear of my "infantry" I like it though, looks like a terrible band of war, ready to pillage... scary thing is, there are so many figures from only 2 available sets... yikes!!! (...) (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs!

(...) wow....strange priorities!!! :) I'd have better used my body parts for a 375/6075 castle!!! Ben (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Wolfpack army pics

Wow! That's quite an army considering how few wolfpack sets they released. I have started creating my own WP "unit", but its less than 20 men at the present. I've given them all helmets, using them as an ordinary faction as opposed of a bunch of (...) (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs!

My forces are quite humble compared to some of teh vast armies out there, but I've spent soem time organising them into factions and such. One thing I try to do with some factions is to make the guys all look a bit different, I think it is a little (...) (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs!

(...) While known to purchase in excess myself I believe that the criteria above cry out for an intervention. Is there a 12 step program for Lego addiction? ;) (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Wolfpack army pics

the freaky thing about this is the thought of so many archers with only one eye each. i mean, two eyes is supposed to give you depth perseption (sp). you have to wonder if that's part of joining process. "oh, would you like to be an archer? well, (...) (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Wolfpack army pics

(...) That is what I did too. I gave them regular black helms. but I changed their leg color to d. grey with black hips. My wolfpack army is rather small also, 18 members including 2 commanders. (URL) pic is alittle out of focus. John (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs!

(...) you can also use the blue "goalie" torso that is like the d.grey fright knight torso w/ the silver circles. I use them mostly for my black falcon archers because the quiver covers the printed 1 on the back. (...) if you are talking about the (...) (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Dwarven women make beautiful lovers

(...) I just happened to read this in Tolkien's _Return_of_the_King_ Appendix A, III "Durin's Folk"... "It was said by Gimli that there are few dwarf-women, probably no more than a third of the whole people. They seldom walk abroad except at great (...) (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

ISCC: There are 157 entries with 1470 pictures - vote now!

Hello @ all! Do you remember? There was (there IS) the ISCC ;-) Over two thirds of the entries came short before New Years Day (deadline was Dec-31), so it took time until now to place all 157 entries. But now it's done and I wouldn't know what to (...)   Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs!

(...) He he he! My thought exactly! There's no way my husband of eight years would even think to buy that many sets for me. Of course he needs to buy me a bigger house right now to keep my current collection under one roof! ;) Tanya (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs!

(...) Hmm. You guys make me a tad jealous, but also appreciative of your efforts! My total mini-fig population during the 2000 Census was only 742, of which only 193 were Castle. Those numbers have gone up slightly since then, but certainly nowhere (...) (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

  the Ten Symdrall emerge.....

Hey guys! Check out the new pictures of the Symdrall, and let me know what you think! (URL) ya missed the story of the Symdrall and the creation of Velaria, then go here to clear up the confusion: (URL) next excerpt will arrive within the next (...) (23 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs!

(...) Just counted what I have (although an odd fig or two may have been misplaced in my spare piece boxes at the time)... I have modified color schemes and divided my Castle figs into factions to follow my own storyline, so I will include my (...) (23 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Motte and Bailey Notes

Hi all, I finally found a little time to look up a few things in my home library and return to the topic of Motte and Bailey Castles. About a month ago, a few questions about this came up as a few of you had considered building one of LEGO, perhaps (...) (23 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)
