  Re: Custom Weapons

(...) Hiya! id say price em at about one dollar each. depends on how long it takes to make em. as for the designs, here is my opinion: a different tipe of sword would be welcome, which would be number B with As blade. personally, i would take that, (...) (...) (URL) Wickedly-awesome color choice! The medium dark-gray seems to have a shimmer to it! (or maybe It’s just the excitement making my eyes go blurry) ;) I never thought the weapons would look so natural in relation to the Minifig. I mean, I've (...)   Re: Patrick Costelloe's Japanese Castle

(...) Patrick - great work on the castle being a Japanese castle fan myself. It is a very nice Japanese castle. The roof although not stricly in the style of Japanese castles has good integration with the structure. The front stairwell seems to draw (...)   Re: Call to Arms (at BrickFest 2003)

(...) It would be fun to do the cobblestone streets again. Perhaps we could each make some street sections. In the next week or so, I'm going to have to decide how to spend my time constructing. Right now, I plan on bringing my wharf section, but (...) (21 years ago, 31-May-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Weekly castle review (or is it?)

(...) That's just one additional trap, however. (it might affect the rating by a point or so.) Hmm...that might have been one of my 'oh damn, how could I miss that one' errors. Sorry for that...and bear with me here! For the last several weeks, I've (...) (21 years ago, 30-May-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Call to Arms (at BrickFest 2003)

(...) I'll be there Thursday night as well as every day through Sunday. Unfortunately, I'll have no Medieval marketplace or any sort of castle town like MOCs to contribute, as they don't particularly interest me, and my specialty isn't exactly four (...)   Re: Custom Weapons

(...) Hi Richard, The weapons are made using a combination of epoxy putty and existing lego (plus other materials) parts. What I did was to cut and sand down the plastic parts to the desire shape first, then combine them with added details using (...) (21 years ago, 30-May-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Call to Arms (at BrickFest 2003)

(...) I plan on attending as well. I wouldn't mind doing the modular castle town again... or even combining it a little with MM. Someone want to start a layout design so we can start claiming spaces? I thought Jeff Stembel did a great job last year (...) (21 years ago, 30-May-03, to lugnet.castle)

Weekly castle review (or is it?)

I check out the weekly castle review from time to time, and the latest is a bit puzzling... The latest review, of 6088, includes the statement "it would be apparently obvious that a wide variety of traps and snares would be set up for the oblivious (...)   Re: Call to Arms (at BrickFest 2003)

(...) I will be attending also. Is there any interest in the modular castle town again? Frank (21 years ago, 29-May-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Onishi Shinji

That's definitely a "must buy" set. It's cheap enough to get multiples of and you get a bunch of minifig food and utensils - carrots, apples, hot dogs, chicken leg, plate, cup, wine bottle, milk bottle, and even a kitty. I even found a use for the (...) (21 years ago, 29-May-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)
