Re: Update on new CW Site

Richard, Glad to hear Castle World is getting back on it's feet again. As always, I'll be glad to help in any way I can. Also, is the new site to be hosted on Geocities? I know from Anthony Sava's (and other's) past gripes about Geocities with their (...) (22 years ago, 1-Oct-02, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Allow me to introduce, myself. Welcome to my world.

(...) Very, very nice! I'm not really a .castler, but I love to snoop around here. I've subscribed for Ozbricks 3 times in the last month and a half, and they won't even send me an unaccepted e-mail. Either their lazy or something in their system's (...) (22 years ago, 1-Oct-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Update on new CW Site

Hey Y'all: Plagued by problems and laziness I have made no effort to build the new CW web site as was once discussed here. But that will change shortly, and there will be a new CW site VERY soon. The longer version is this: NONE of the previous (...) (22 years ago, 1-Oct-02, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

(...) have a lot of interesting pictures there. The castle/mansion looked great, the entrance with the half arches looks really good. Thanks, George (22 years ago, 1-Oct-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Allow me to introduce, myself. Welcome to my world.

(...) Greetings to you as well, Erick. (...) Sounds like a good start to me, can't wait to see it all put together. (...) Square's Final Fantasy series, Willow, and Record of Lodoss War have also been large sources of inspiration for me. Then again, (...) (22 years ago, 1-Oct-02, to lugnet.castle)

Allow me to introduce, myself. Welcome to my world.

Greetings to the world. I am about to show my stuff for the first time. I have a story prepared close to Ikros in size but I think I'll cut it down a bit. I have creations prepared for it. I really need a home for it. I've applied for a spot on (...) (22 years ago, 1-Oct-02, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.wi)

(...) In case you didn't know, that would be a model of Cinderella's Castle from Walt Disney World, Florida. (URL) to Mini-Fig scale about as much as the real Cinderella's Castle is to human scale. The turrets in the real Cinderella's Castle are (...) (22 years ago, 30-Sep-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Merchant's House

Hi everyone, Thanks for the positive feedback on the merchant's house. I came back this weekend and my dormitory's server went down :( The corner grey slopes would be hard to find - the dresser peices as well - but replacements in dark grey or red (...) (22 years ago, 30-Sep-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: More Castle MOCs for BrickSiege

(...) Sorry I missed your post a while back. Thanks for the compliments. It is funny, after the work I put into the larger MOCs, my favorite models I did for this display were the two small ships (which each took maybe 15 minutes to put together). (...)   Re: A little something I've been working on

WOW! that's big. and more importantly, it looks good. i really like the windows inside the inset arches.. it has this really great giant defensive structure look to it: something built not to look good and pretty but mean and powerful and effective.   Re: has anyone seen this? (great moc spotting)

Oh my God, that is simply beautiful. I wonder how much it cost to collect so many printeed wall sections... (...) It looks to me as if the outer walls are in minifig scale to the same extent that Lego's official castles are. The battlements are too (...) (22 years ago, 30-Sep-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: My newest MOC: a cathedral

Daan, very intersting Cathedral you have there, I especially like the little details like the chandelier on the inside and the gargoyles and other masonry on the outer walls. Are those droid legs you have used for the railings? Great idea. The many (...) (22 years ago, 30-Sep-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: My newest MOC: a cathedral

Very cool cathedral! It almost looks more like a tempal to an evil diety of some type.... As was already mentioned I would love to see this rendered so that the color scheme was more uniform.... Great work! -Aaron "Daan Bargerbos" (...) (22 years ago, 30-Sep-02, to lugnet.castle)
