(...) If you haven't already, check the link that Lars C Hassing posted to the POV-Ray users' forum. The "JRG" person posted his custom colour and finish declarations there. With some personal help from Jeroen de Haan I finally succeeded in making an almost realistic picture. I now need a faster computer!! If I want to make a picture of 1024x768 with AA03 and q=3 settings toghether with LGEO library parts, a simple (...) (22 years ago, 5-Nov-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)

(...) was what was holding the yellow mini-fig up in the air. :-) I think it qualifies as a quite realistic image. You might want to look into the blur around the black mini-fig. It looks a bit strange on the white background. Play well, Jacob (22 years ago, 7-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Just wanted to add my 2 cents about the wonderful images that have been posted. I use Bryce for to render my images. Here are two links to images that make use of a modified light dome technique that was posted to Renderosity.com to simulate (...) (22 years ago, 10-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)
