All,
I have been messing around with MLCad to create some models and rendering
them out with POVRay. I have wanted to improve the rendering quality, so I
downloaded the LGEO library. Using L3PAddOn to create POV file, I was able
to make a rendering, but only after commenting out several parts that were
kicking errors. One of these, for instance, was the 1x1x2 windows.
Once I had removed the offending parts, the final rendering looked great.
However, trying to get more info, I tried to go to LGEO site and it appears
to be down.
So my question is: How can you make some quality renderings that have alot
of smoothness to them? Is there a way to tweak the POVRay settings or code?
Is there a better (read: Still free, or close to it) program out there that
is better for rendering? Is there some way to fix the offending LGEO parts?
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Jake
