I use L3PAO to call L3P so it's difficult to see the error message :)
The POV does include something like this, however for a tan part it uses the
default colour setting, eg. if I choose Drk Cyan for the default colour then
all tan parts are rendered in Drk Cyan.

Just put a 1 x 4 brick in a dat and make it tan (colour 19? I'm using
MLCad). You won't get a tan brick in POV.
