  Re: lg_color.inc updates?

(...) Hi Thomas, Currently noone has updated the lg_colors.inc file but that doesn't mean you can't use these color defs. Go to my website: (URL) program add-ons you'll find an .inc file for these colors. Additionally, Jereon uses this file in his (...) (21 years ago, 15-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Monster Truck

hey Guys well i'm still at it, and making some progress. (URL) getting more in control of the lighting and of the mlcad program in general as well as lp3ao and POV-Ray. I'm now using the radiosity libraries and a single light right at the same place (...) (21 years ago, 14-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Problem with LPub and MegaPOV

(...) Tried this, still got the same error, I think its something to do with is expecting either a } or a command it recognises and its getting neither I am rebuilding my PC so will try downgrading to the older versions! :) many thanks Tim (21 years ago, 12-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: How to use Mega-Pov without LPub

(...) Yeah, it's because, well, I already have every program (pov, mlcad) set up on my desktop computer, and I don't feel like replacing everything right now. I have installed everything on my other computer, but it's so slow and old that it can't (...) (21 years ago, 7-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Star Wars mini models 1st wave render & Orange in part

(...) Maybe a light source is really close, but the blue seems rather bright. I'll have to try it myself. There's not an official LDraw color for Dark Blue yet, is there? I checked (URL) (...) 484 looks like the right orange to me, based on your (...) (21 years ago, 6-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Star Wars mini models 1st wave render

(...) Very nice. I happen to have 4485 and in my version the two gray cones on both Podracers are dark gray, all Tile 1 x 1 with Clip pieces are gray (two in Sebulba's Podracer look white on your picture), and two Plate 1 x 1 Round on Anakin's (...) (21 years ago, 6-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: How to use Mega-Pov without LPub

<snip> (...) Is there a reason why you would NOT want to use LPub? It is a better way to go if you want to use MegaPOV as you don't have to write any code and just provide the numeric text. -Ahui LDraw Help Desk (21 years ago, 6-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Star Wars mini models 1st wave render

Orion, Nice work! Excellent job of lighting in that photo. Having no shadows really gave it a sense of realism, instead of just making it seem like a bunch of models on display. Amazing what changing the spot lightsources to ambient sources will (...) (21 years ago, 6-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Star Wars mini models 1st wave render & Orange in part

(...) It is dark blue. In fact that's the darkest I can get it wiht LDraw color number since I used dithered Black and Blue. (...) Unfortunately no (...) I used 484. 25 seemed too dark. -Orion (21 years ago, 6-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Star Wars mini models 1st wave render & Orange in part

(...) Looks nice, esp. the AT-ST. Colors seem wrong on the Slave I (I think the blue should be dark blue). Missing the TIE Bomber, though. Are the cylinders for the TIE Bomber up yet? Question related to another topic: what color orange did you use (...) (21 years ago, 6-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.cad.dev)

Star Wars mini models 1st wave render

Well, between Donald Sutter and myself all the parts, including patterns, used in sets 4484, 4485, 4486, 4487 have been modelled and are offical or on the Parts Tracker. I got bored and made a render of the the Mini's in the same picture: (URL) a (...) (21 years ago, 6-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.cad.ray)

How to use Mega-Pov without LPub

Hello. This is my first post on lugnet. I have searched and read nearly all of the topics about Mega-Pov. I have tried for a long time to get the edge lines, but I just can't seem to get it. I put the line #version unofficial MegaPov 1.0 and then (...) (21 years ago, 5-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  POV torus bug fix

I have made a bug fix to PovRay regarding the torus (used by L3P in the studlogo and in some primitive substitutions). (URL) guy from the POV team mailed me about permission to use my code, but couldn't tell when it will be released. Meanwhile you (...) (21 years ago, 3-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Problem with LPub and MegaPOV

(...) Are you making fun of me Kevin? =) I am NOT annoyed at all over Pov 3.1g vs 3.5. In fact I perfer 3.1g vs 3.5, because 3.5 takes longer to render for some reason. The ONLY reason I tolerate 3.5 is because of Jeroen De Hann's Ultra-Realtisc (...) (21 years ago, 2-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Problem with LPub and MegaPOV

Re: Problem with LPub and MegaPOV

<snip> (...) I believe that LPub is *STILL* using Pov-Ray 3.1g and MegaPOV .7. You can do two things: 1) Download POV-Ray 3.1g and MegaPOV 0.7 or 2) As Orion stated in the other post manually edit the line of code that states: #version unofficial (...) (21 years ago, 31-Jul-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Problem with LPub and MegaPOV

  Problem with LPub and MegaPOV

I have recently started experimenting with LPub and have got it working pretty well with POVRay. I decided to try using MegaPov as I liked the idea of edgelines, however I can't get it to render any file When MegaPov tries to process the .pov file (...)
