  New animation

I recently got an old version of lightwave (5.6) running. I used a ldraw to lightwave conversion utility and made this little test rendering. The file features a flyby by one of my microfig space ships in a star field. Its 1141KB so if your (...) (23 years ago, 12-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.space)

The link to the left, in the left pane, that says "LEGO library for POV-Ray" is dead. Anyone know where the updated site/url is? Thx, Mike (23 years ago, 12-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  POVray orthographic optimization

Hi, I'm trying to render an orthographic image that looks nice using POVray. I've followed Bram L.'s recommendations. They are: 1) Uncomment the "orthographic" keyword in the camera {} block. This will get rid of the perspective in the images (...) (23 years ago, 12-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

(...) Really?! I loved the rail too, but the cockpit doesn't seem to fit at all. I geuss it depends on how you look at it, and what you're looking from, ie, the master/creator (you) and the apprentice/awe struck wanna-be (me). The rest looked (...) Yeah I've seen a ton of guns using the technic pulleys and axels. But I Iiked the combination of the big saucers with the belt feeding into the gun, on yours. :-) -Jon "Mladen Pejic" <mladenpejic@sympatico.ca> wrote in message (...) Hey thats a great idea for the minigun. Thats one of the best miniguns I've ever seen. I love all the clips you have lined up on the chain.
