  RE: BTTF DeLorean render

(...) The lights are all part of the POV file, which is why it took so long to render. Atmospheric media (ie, the fog) is *slow*. --Bram Bram Lambrecht bram@cwru.edu (URL) (23 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: BTTF DeLorean render

WOW! thats a while. I don't think I'll try it, considering the amount of RAM that I have,it would take about 36 hours or more. Are the light effects in the headlights and thrusters part of the POV file or is it post prossesing?? Gary Bram Lambrecht (...) (23 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: Rhino

I love it!! gonna have to build one of those.Maybe a trailer for it...... As for the back-ground, all I can offer is that you can add a road plate in ldraw.   Rhino

Hi all, Recently I got into L3P, -addon and POV and rendered my Rhino model. Render see (URL) model at (URL) please! For post to lugnet.cad.ray: This is a rather dull render, because of the gray background. The model is great ;-) What I am looking (...)   Re: LGEO and colours

(...) I use L3PAO to call L3P so it's difficult to see the error message :) The POV does include something like this, however for a tan part it uses the default colour setting, eg. if I choose Drk Cyan for the default colour then all tan parts are (...) Daniel Crichton wrote... (...) If L3P is call3ed with the -lgeo option, it first looks up a color number in L2P_COLR.TAB. If it is found the lg_xxx color is used.   Re: LGEO and colours

L3p does not seem to recognize the newer "LDlite" colors, including orange, tan, trans orange. For it to work use the color numbers in the list below. I've also added some other less-used colors. tan: 382 transparent-orange: 44 orange: 462 (...) (23 years ago, 12-May-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: LGEO and colours

(...) I get the same problems. I think it has to do with l3p not reconising it as an "official" ldraw color, but as a homemade/custom color. I do not know how to fix it though. l3p Does this to me with trans orange as well, so it is not just l3p (...) (23 years ago, 10-May-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  LGEO and colours

I've noticed that if I use tan in my models the parts actually come out using the default colour choice set using l3p (greyish if not defined). I've got the complete lgeo download and the #15 update. Anyone else managed to fix this? Or is something (...) (23 years ago, 10-May-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Rendering POV-Ray animations (was: Re: I need help on Pov-ray)

(...) There are some command line options you can use. I don't remember what they are called right now, but it's something like "start frame" and "end frame". So if you have rendered frame 1-7 out of a total of 50, say, you can simply tell POV-Ray (...) (23 years ago, 9-May-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)
