Re: Do I use Dat2AutoCAD or is there a better way?

POV-Ray can use bitmaps as surface textures. I've never done this myself, but I've seen it done. -John Van "Ryan Farrington" <ryanjf@ifriendly.com> wrote in message news:002501c0ab09$c8...dly.com... (...) (24 years ago, 12-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.cad.dev)

Do I use Dat2AutoCAD or is there a better way?

For a project I am working on, I need a picture of a datapad (which I posted to .models) with text displayed on its screen (and I don't mean a perfect front view). I rendered the model in POV-Ray, but have no idea of how to get the text on it, (...) (24 years ago, 12-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.cad.dev)

  Bezier Curves in POV-Ray

Does anyone here know how to create a bezier curve in POV-Ray? I'd like to be able to substitute a real curving hose for the approximations created by LDraw-Mode. -John Van (24 years ago, 27-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.cad)
