I finally formatted the material about L3P messages vs. part files and put
it under the reference area of the Parts Tracker.
<http://www.ldraw.org/library/tracker/ref/l3pmsg/>
If you don't have L3P installed on your computer, you can check your part
files at:
<http://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptfilecheck.cgi>
This script must upload your file to the server in order to check it. If
you've got a slow connection, you're better off (in the long run)
downloading L3P, and learning how to use the -check option.
If you've got L3P and LDAO, you can use LDAO's Editor to produce and review
L3P messages. In the Editor, use the Tools | L3P Check option to get the
messages. Click a message to jump to the line it matches.
