  Re: rebuttal...

(...) I'm only replying here. I'm going to post two replies, one addressing the current issue, the second to address Franklin's charges against me. (...) I understand your position. I also pointed out to you that 'fixing' this problem would cause (...) (22 years ago, 25-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: rebuttal...

(...) Hello Franklin, Hello Steve, I pray so that you stay or return to concordance. I can not imagine LDraw without you. I am sure there is nothing personal so there must be a way back to a friendly cooperative work. The Part Tracker would have no (...) (22 years ago, 25-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  rebuttal...

(This is a copy of my reply to Steve...) Steve, As I mentioned to you on several occasions, I wanted to fix this problem with the mis-match of the pattern numbers. As I mentioned to you on several occasions, I am the type of person, who, when he (...) (22 years ago, 25-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: [Parts Tracker] Re-numbering "Star Wars" patterns...

(...) Franklin, As I notified you via email, your privileges to submit parts and post reviews on the Parts Tracker have been temporarily suspended. This is a direct result of your actions in posting 3626bps4.dat and 3626bps6.dat. For the time being, (...) (22 years ago, 25-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: [LCAD] plz help me fix 3626bps4...

As a result of off-line correspondence, I've uploaded the following: 3626bps4 - Minifig Head with SW Alien with Large Black Eyes Pattern 3626bps6 - Minifig Head with SW Grey Beard and Eyebrows Pattern This will solve the mis-match problem *and* (...)   Re: [Parts Tracker] Re-numbering "Star Wars" patterns...

PS, As a reminder, we have to release a new version of the "old Ben Kenobi" face pattern, because there's a flaw with the version currently released to the field (the discs and non-discs for the eyes)... Franklin (22 years ago, 25-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: [Parts Tracker] Re-numbering "Star Wars" patterns...

(...) Steve, I asked you to fix the mis-match w/ the "Old Ben Kenobi" face pattern. You refused, claiming that having a "~moved to" file would add to "clutter". I've fixed it myself, by uploading a new pattern, the "Gasganno" face pattern, as a new (...) (22 years ago, 25-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: [Parts Tracker] Re-numbering "Star Wars" patterns...

(...) Franklin and everyone: Please do *not* attempt to 'rename' files on the Parts Tracker. I have a simple script set up to handle renames.   [LCAD] plz help me fix 3626bps4...

Steve, I need your help to fix this problem. I need you to please re-number file 3626bps4 (the Old Ben Kenobi face pattern) currently in the Tracker to 3626bps6. Once this is done, I need a new file uploaded for a *new* version of 3626bps4, that (...) (22 years ago, 23-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: [Parts Tracker] Re-numbering "Star Wars" patterns...

OK, as of today, here's what we've got... Please note that we *still* need some of the subfiles re-numbered... Thanks, Franklin For 3626b (Minifig Head): pS0 - (open) pS1 - (open) pS2 - Young Obi-Wan Kenobi (also Luke Skywalker from 2000 and later) (...)   Re: [Parts Tracker] Re-numbering "Star Wars" patterns...

[sigh]... I just made *another* mistake. >:-( I forgot that I wanted to fix a mis-match, so I've just had to re-(re)-name the "Lobot" files. The *proper* versions are: 3626bpsc, s\3626psc1, and s\3626psc2. Any previous version is now obsolete, and (...) (22 years ago, 23-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: [Parts Tracker] Re-numbering "Star Wars" patterns...

(...) Yes, it will. I made a mistake. I've manually changed these subfiles to more acceptable names: s\3626pSA1 and s\3626pSA2. Steve, please delete the old, obsolete versions of these subfiles. Thanks, Franklin (22 years ago, 23-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Parts Tracker suggestion

A smaal little suggestion for the Parts Tracker: Some sort of "what have I signed on to" page. This would make it much easier to find the parts that have a hold placed on it. -Orion (22 years ago, 23-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: [Parts Tracker] Re-numbering "Star Wars" patterns...

(...) Yes, but there is an acceptable alternative naming convention for patterned subparts (see How are subparts numbered? in (URL) ---> s\3626baS9 s\3626bpS9b ---> s\3626bbS9 etc. Chris (22 years ago, 23-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)
