Re: ldraw.org's MOTM & SOTM Winners for November 2001

(...) You might want to update the front page of Ldraw.org. The picture for the MOTM is correct, but the caption still shows your AH-64. Likewise, the SOTM picture is correct, but the caption is wrong. -Duane (23 years ago, 4-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: LDraw and LEdit source code?

(...) Looks like I *was* wrong about the DOS mesa after all. Apparently the AllegroGL folks have picked up the slack. So If anyone is nutz enough to want a DOS version of ldglite you can get it at: (URL) limps along in DOS mode under Windows 95 with (...) Terry: (...) I thought so too. And except for a short while (enough to catch three messages though), it seems to have worked. Jacob (23 years ago, 6-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: ldraw.org's MOTM & SOTM for November

(...) Shhh! Split-second makes the org sound more efficient. Besides, I didn't mention the time zone of the server. So anyone in the U.S. that waits until the stroke of midnight will be impressed when the pages are ready and waiting. :-) -- Terry K (...) (23 years ago, 6-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: ldraw.org's MOTM & SOTM for November

I think the new scheme looks great! Having the contestants up for a prolonged period makes the site more worth visiting at all times. Besides, seeing the wide variety of contestants probably makes it more encouraging for newbies to submit their (...) (23 years ago, 2-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: LDraw and LEdit source code?

(...) Yeah, I looked DOS Mesa and if I recall, it was no longer being maintained. I could be wrong about that though, but the CVS logs on SourceForge seem to contain many references to removing "old and broken DOS build support".   Re: LDraw and LEdit source code?

(...) Whoah! DOS version? Where did that come from? I think I asked about that once upon a time but there wasn't much interest.   Re: ldraw.org's MOTM & SOTM for November

Rick: (...) There were some problems with the e-mail system on the LDraw.org server (mostly due to a damaged disk on our firewall), which should have been solved by now.   Re: LDraw and LEdit source code?

Mark: (...) No. :-( (...) I think LDGLite is fully LEdit compatible by now (and works on Linux/Alpha systems), so it is probably worthwhile to look into adding the (if any) missing features to LDGLite. I don't know if LDGLite is distributed in a DOS (...) (23 years ago, 1-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: ldraw.org's MOTM & SOTM for November

Terry: (...) Don't worry. I didn't notice it myself anyway. It was much more worrying that you wrote "a split second after midnight", when it is actually a whole minute after midnight. ;-) Play well, Jacob (23 years ago, 1-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  LDraw and LEdit source code?

Is the source code for either LDraw or LEdit available? It would be nice if somebody updated them to be able to view .MPD files or made it so LEdit could handle type 5 lines. (23 years ago, 1-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

ldraw.org's MOTM & SOTM for November
