(...) Yeah, but it is the ONLY editor we Mac users have. So it is the best and most popular Mac ldraw app. I know what you mean, you don't want us to think that it is the ultimate. It is just that we can't even put up a "getting started" page if (...) (24 years ago, 28-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

(...) I suspect it's probably because the linux files use lowercase filenames. In the notes Andrew mentions that it's important to use uppercase folder names for the OS 8-9 version of ldglite. (URL) not sure why, but I think the old MAC parts (...) (24 years ago, 27-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

I figured we need a parts file that will work with the 3 different apps: BrickDraw3D, ldglite (os 8-9), and ldglite (os x). I got the linux parts to work with ldglite (os x), so I figured I would test those with BrickDraw3D and ldglite (os 8-9). (...) (24 years ago, 27-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

(...) I'd consider ldglite more of an UNpopular FIRST generation editor. If you use the linux parts, you'll have to tell how to unzip and untar them on OS 8 and 9. (and probably on OSX as well) I think the ldlite instructions only cover the command (...) (24 years ago, 26-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

OK, so I have made a preliminary getting started page. I basically took the Windows page and changed the names, commented out the images, and sent it to Tim. What it needs: - Images for ldglite and BrickDraw3D, 150x134 (see the Windows getting (...) (24 years ago, 26-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

In January Lars told me that he wants to finish porting L3P to linux first, and then he will focus on the Mac. I offered to help, but he wants to control the code and he has a friend who is a Mac programmer who will help him. I don't see why this (...)
