  ERROR in lcad9903 update

Sorry folks, I made a mistake in update 9903. Piece 2429, the 1x2 hinge plate, was overwritten by another part. For an immediate fix, you can download and install this quick fix; (URL) it just like any other update. It contains: 146.dat a ~Moved to (...) (25 years ago, 20-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Spheres in LDLite  [DAT]

I just noticed that when I view a sphere in LDLite in a front, side, or top view, half of the edge line is not drawn. This is true in standard or wireframe mode. In LDraw they are all drawn. I did a little investigation, and it appears to be related (...) (25 years ago, 19-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Voting Comments

(...) Order of drawing doesn't matter, except for coincident objects. For transparent surfaces vs. edges, it matters even less: the edge must 'show through' the surface, or the renderer isn't working right. LDraw and LDLite both display transparent (...)   Re: What is 'LDraw?'

LDraw is the original program that writes (one form of)* .dat files. All the other programs that write this type of .dat file are 'LDraw compatibles'. How's that? * i believe .dat is a fairly common extension used for lots of stuff. John Matthews (25 years ago, 9-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Interim update 9903 released

Hey folks, I have uploaded update lcad9903. This is mostly a big bunch of changes. Although there are 7 new files that were held back from the last voting.   Re: new part description changes?

(...) The new part, 32059, doesn't go with the other parts in the Wedge category. All of the wedges feature at least one side which is angled across 1x3 studs. 32059 has sides angled across 1x2 studs. There are several types of angle-sided plates in (...)
