Here's a triangle with a 90 deg's angle AB and the hypotenuse c equlas the
radius:
a=640
b=c-120
c=<unknown>

That gives c^2 = (c-120)^2 + 640^2

or the system:

{ c*sin(v) = 640
{ c*cos(v) = c-120

Is it possible to calculate c from this information?

TIA,
/Tore

I calculate c = 5300 / 3 = 1766.667

The math:
c^2 = (c-120)^2 + 640^2
c^2 = c^2 - 240*c + 120^2 + 640^2
0 = -240*c + 424000
240*c = 424000
c = 424000 / 240 = 5300 / 3 = 1766.667

Hope this helps.
John
