Not much of a response here, with the exception of onyx. Thanks onyx for
your comments. Maybe an example would break the ice. I've put up a DAT up
on my webpage in the components section for everyone interested to examine
and comment on. Please feel free to make any crictical observations that
come to mind with the following exceptions: I know there are no type 2 or 5
lines --- I know the interior surfaces are not right --- I know there is no
internal stud --- I know the visor indents are off --- and I know the
dimensions are not quite right. BE WARNED the file size is VERY large
compared to other parts and that is what I'm most interested in. Any
comments about what size would be better will be useful.

| A short while ago Onyx produced a MAX2DAT converter which seemed like such a good idea I was inspired to look into converting from other text based formats. I chose VRML files to start with because they seemed very much alike to the DAT format. (...) (26 years ago, 18-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
