(...) I'll second that! Steve (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Errors in certified parts (was [Parts Tracker] Daily News)

(...) Yes, I agree. For now, you just have to remember to mark the vote the same as your prior vote. Ideally, there should be a comment area when a new file is submitted, and a separate post-a-comment function. (...) Nod. And we should be able to (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: ldglite 0.9.4

(...) Hmm, I'm using 4.0, but it used to compile and link with the older versions. (I just forgot to set up the projection matrix for the offscreen stuff so it didn't work yet in ldglite 0.9.2). At some point (4.0?) the Mesa folks pulled OSMesa out (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: [Parts Tracker] Daily News

(...) I'm just checking the 2001-01 update... btw, why does the search engine on partsref show 2599, but not 2599c01 when I search for "2599" or "flipper"? O.k., the -01 update is in partsref... Hello Jennifer, No.. First i thought that too but it overrides all votes , meaning resetting it. It's a 'great idea for a part, but this is so bad it is not ready for voting' vote. "Jennifer L. Boger" <jenn@peeron.com> schrieb im Newsbeitrag (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

I agree - and it does! the last update has been applied to peeron, and most (if not all) the new pictures were added. Are there any that (...)   Re: ldglite 0.9.4

(...) Mesa 4.0 contains the library OSMesa, but it seems to need some other library to work. I couldn't deduce what it is from the compiler error message. I have - as a temporary fix - changed the Linux installation instructions, so off-screen (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: [Parts Tracker] Daily News

(...) Will the new parts be added to the partsref at lugnet.com, too? The pre-rendered images are very helpful if one searches for parts ;-) It would be nice if the peeron inventory (which links to the partsref ;-) ) would magically show more images (...) (...) I believe that can be done if you're a reviewer by choosing the "novote" option instead of "certify" or "hold" (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Errors in certified parts (was [Parts Tracker] Daily News)

(...) Yes! I agree that would be really nice! Also, is there a way for authors to get the email of revievers? If a reviewer leaves a comment the author doesn't understand, they need to be able to clarify it. (...) Many hands make light work! ROSCO (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Errors in certified parts (was [Parts Tracker] Daily News)

Hello, I would like to see a 'Comment' entry feature in the part tracker, so you can do comments and questions without voting or resetting the votes. That would be very important. I admit that i overlook details like this too. Another nice feature (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Errors in certified parts (was [Parts Tracker] Daily News)

(...) Damien - I find your notes on parts *very* helpful, even if you don't want to vote "hold" on them, at least make a note so that such things won't go unnoticed :) I often miss a lot of the smaller details that you've picked up on. Thanks :) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  [Parts Tracker] Daily News

A few notices for you to take note of: 1. I'm planning on cutting a new parts update by the end of the week. This will be the 2001-02 update. If you want to look the parts over now, while there's a chance to fix problems, take a look at the (...) (23 years ago, 28-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev) !

  Re: [Parts Tracker] Moving/Renumbering Parts

(...) Umm, ok. Since the pattern for this part wasn't used anywhere else, and there have been very many patterns for 2408, this is fine. I won't generally commit to making LDraw parts match Brickbay, though. It's done. I also added a couple of (...) (23 years ago, 27-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: [Parts Tracker] Moving/Renumbering Parts

(...) I wish my part 2408p03 is renumbered 2408p04 and renamed "Panel 10 x 6 x 11 with Futuron Stripes Pattern". This would equal the number and name at brickbay.com which can't be a bad thing. Damien (23 years ago, 26-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)
