It wouldn't help the linux community anyway as I'm using Delphi (Borland
Pascal). Theoretically, it should be possible to develop in Delphi 6 and Kylix
(using the CLX class library instead of VCL), and get a program that works
both in Windows and Linux, but I don't have Delphi 6, and certainly not any
Kylix, or any linux system, so the chance is slim.
Besides, it is a Beta-version, I wouldn't want that source floating around,
perhaps having to answer questions about code that's already been scrapped...
There is source code available at the web site, not the latest version though.
I do think the code is still much too tightly connected with Windows to be of
any real use for the linux community.
The changes in the rendering code are line and polygon drawing algorithms by
Paul Heckbert, from Graphics Gems I, I've just translated them to Pascal and
embedded them in an interface.

| (...) I thought Delphi 6 personal was a free download from borland's web-site? As for Linux..... PC Plus (A uk computer title) gives away a disto evrey couple of months on CD. (or evrey moth if you has a DVD drive, a CD writer, and some spare (...) (23 years ago, 16-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)
