  Re: Part description help request

(...) For the CATEGORY, I recommentd either "Boat" or "Minifig Accessory". Depending on which CATEGORY you use, that will determine the first word of the DESCRIPTION. For KEYWORDS, I recommend the following: cannon, cannons, cannonade, "black (...) (24 years ago, 3-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Part description help request

Hello everyone, I am just about finished with two new parts. The "Pirate" cannon (then non shooting one) and it's base piece. I would like some suggestions on a good part description, keywords and a category. They are available for viewing at my "in (...) (24 years ago, 3-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Fiber Optics module

Has anyone else noticed that the axle hole on this .dat file is 2 ldu higher than it should be? It would be great if someone else with this part could confirm this. -John Van (24 years ago, 3-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  License - again

Last time we talked about a license for the parts library we couldn't reach an agreement, so here I am again trying to wrap this up. I know this is a boring subject but let's try to reach an agreement. I don't think we need to write a long license, (...) (24 years ago, 2-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: numbers for "Castle" minifig torso patterns?...

(...) I'm still not sure about using 'S' for this, because S01 is commonly used for parts/s/ files. But I definitely agree with the idea. (...) Erk. Doesn't LEdit cut off file-references that a too long? (...) Authors have got to be careful to (...) (24 years ago, 1-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: LDLite status (was Re: LDLite center offset problem?)

(...) I use LDLite (mostly) in conjuction with LDAO (to generate the VEC images, and the HTML instruction images) and to generate the images for Partsref. Some things I'd like to see: 1. LDLite 2.0 doesn't crop saved images to the edges of the (...) (24 years ago, 1-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: LDLite status (was Re: LDLite center offset problem?)

(...) As I have pointed out before, this is my most wanted feature upgrade of LDLITE nowadays. It looks a bit odd to see rendered images where the type 2 lines are 3 pixels wide, while the type 5 lines are plain one pixel wide. The other things you (...)   LDLite status (was Re: LDLite center offset problem?)

Well, with the stock market tanking and the prospects of a manditory pre-IPO crunch-time fading, I may have spare cycles to do something over Christmas.   Re: numbers for "Castle" minifig torso patterns?...

(...) I see three reasons why this argument may be flawed, but I think we are confusing the meaning of subpart. 1) The Pxx number are all two digits, so 973p4.dat should never exist. 2) The same pattern on a part varient would be demand a suffix for (...)   Re: numbers for "Castle" minifig torso patterns?...

(...) I remember it being discussed, but I don't recall any agreement. The flaw I saw with this proposal is, is the file "973p4a.dat" an independent part all its own, or is it merely the first _sub_part of "973p4.dat"? The more I've been thinking (...) (24 years ago, 29-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: numbers for "Castle" minifig torso patterns?...

(...) Based on recent discussions here, I think we have agreed to allow alpha characters after the "p", to prevent pxx number expanfding to three digits (not a problem for 973pxx, but potentially for 3626bpxx and similar). That means that we can (...) (24 years ago, 29-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

numbers for "Castle" minifig torso patterns?...

Chris, In a message you sent to me some time ago, you had mentioned that the "range" of "p40" to "p50" was set aside for the patterns from "Castle". However, I just noticed that we've used all but one of these pattern numbers for the minifig torsos. (...) (24 years ago, 29-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  error in 973p34.dat ???

I think there might be a (minor) error in 973p34.dat. I noticed in my "sort by number" parts list that 973p34 was titled "Minifg Torso with Open Jacket over Striped Vest". ("Minifg" should be "Minifig".) I wasn't certain if this is unique to my PC. (...) (24 years ago, 29-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
