  Tyres?

This might be an exceedingly dumb question, but why does LCad spell it this way? It doesn't bother me, of course, but I wondered when the decision was made to go with the "chiefly British" spelling, considering that elsewhere "color" is spelled (...) (24 years ago, 2-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Test version of LDraw Add-On Installation

(...) That's normal, if you mean the progress bar that appears on the main form when you start LDAO, not the messages you get when you open the VEC, about parts.lst and the VEC being out-of-date. (...) Hmm. I'll look into this some more. It's (...) (24 years ago, 2-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: part skins (was Re: some thoughts on ldraw parts)

(...) Whoa. Deja vu. (...) [snip] (...) I'm not seeing how this affects file-naming standards, except from the POV of not changing what we're doing. Also, do you (or anyone) have any suggestions for modifying the Partsref site to follow this (...) (24 years ago, 2-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  BMP-to-LDraw32 Converter

Hello ! the last two days I was busy to program this BMP-to-LDraw converter windows tool. It runs under Win95/98/ME/2000 and it convertes logo-bitmaps of LEGO-bricks to LDAT-format - just as BMP2DAT or the tool in the LDAO suite should do ;).. Fell (...)   Re: Has the minfig gem been done?

(...) Hmmm.... Gimme a few hours. (Okay, put the "secret project" on hold, this one should be a bit easier... ;-) Seriously, what should we call this one? It's not necessarily a "Minifig Accesory". Franklin (24 years ago, 1-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Test version of LDraw Add-On Installation

(...) Do you mean that each time you get a new file, ~LDAO001.bat, ~LDAO002.bat, ~LDAO003.bat and so on ? If so, then the same thing happens for me too. Greetings, M. Moolhuysen. (24 years ago, 30-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Test version of LDraw Add-On Installation

(...) I decided to go ahead and download the test version too. It didn't destroy Windows 98 (SE, I think) this time. However, the VEC batch processes still run every time I start LDAO instead of just once, and the Minifig modeler (which was actually (...) (24 years ago, 30-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Has the minfig gem been done?

I'm speaking of the little 1x1 gem found in many ninja sets, ocatgonal with a tiny cylinder at the base... i can't find it on any parts pages or updates and can't locate it in the partlist. J (24 years ago, 30-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

LCad Parts Update 2000-02 Now Available

[FUT lugnet.cad] The LCad parts update 2000-02 is now available from ldraw.org. And it's a biggie. The update file alone is over 700K. There are more than 130 new parts in this one. Get it at (URL). Full details are available there. Steve Bliss (24 years ago, 30-Sep-00, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev) !!

More tips for L3P (was: Re: LDraw.exe)

Re: part skins (was Re: some thoughts on ldraw parts)

  Re: LDraw.exe

All right! I figured out how to use LDraw! As I was working on how to get L3P working as per Manfred Moolhuysen's instructions (Re: I can't run L3P), I realized that both L3P and LDraw are DOS programs. So I followed his directions for L3P and (...) (24 years ago, 29-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: New program for Macs: BrickDraw3D

(...) Although I'm not a Mac user, it's nice to see Ldraw alive and cicking in the "Enemy" camp ;-) I wish you a lot of response of- and coöperation with other Mac users. Keep up the good work. Greetings, M. Moolhuysen. (24 years ago, 29-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  New program for Macs: BrickDraw3D
