Re: Suggestions for new primitives: Flex-System hoses. —Steve Bliss
Sounds like a good idea. We should do a similar thing for the ribbed hoses. Steve (...) (25 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Suggestions for new primitives: Flex-System hoses. —Fredrik Glöckner
(...) That would be great! I have worked a bit on them myself. Here's what I have done so far: (URL) used two sub parts for the ribbed hose: end and segment parts. Look for "RIBD-END.DAT" and "RIBD-SEG.DAT". These are somewhat modified from Mark R. (...) (25 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

As for the ribbed tube, the best way to find the length of one (...) (25 years ago, 2-May-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Suggestions for new primitives: Flex-System hoses. —Fredrik Glöckner
(...) I've posted these now. The word "primitive" in the subject is probably not the correct term: "sub part" is probably better. Here's the example files with descriptions and the individual sub parts in MPD format: (2 URLs) latter also has an (...) (25 years ago, 4-May-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Suggestions for new primitives: Flex-System hoses. —Steve Bliss
(...) Yeah, I'll run the primitive past the committee. A couple of things stand out immediately: - The primitive's name should be 4-4con8.dat, not 4-4co89.dat. - Primitives (especially the curved variety) should go to 4 decimal places. Actually, I (...)
