Whoa. Wow. Yes. That is frightening.
I don't have any more of these 3L Friction-Peg/Stop-Bush combo elements left
(sold them all) to compare to Jonathan's drawing, but I do remember, now
that you point it out, Bram, that the element *is* supposed to fit cleanly
(but snugly) through two side-by-side beams (or any peg holes).
Jonathan: If these two parts are representative of your best work, then you
should seriously consider taking a leave of absence from this line of work.
You are trying to shoot a free-throw from the far end of the court.
Practice near the basket first, and when you can consistently make it from
there, gradually back up until you can master the shot from increasing
distances. When you can make the shot from center court, then come back and
make parts again.

p.s. Deep down, I'm a nice guy (really :), and I don't enjoy playing the
"bad guy" role, but sometimes someone has to step up and fill that role,
even if they end up looking like an arse or a bully in doing so. I don't
want to hurt you, I just think you need a dose of reality.
