I played with the QuickTime tools and my converter last night. The process goes like this: Process a DAT file with LTrans.pl (my program) to get a .3dmf file (8k) Use 3D Movie Maker on that to get a .mov file (8k) At this point you have a QuickTime (...) (25 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) step (...) Thanks, Erik! I'll look into the conversion to QTVR. The only way I've done it is by feeding the QTVR Builder an image matrix of individual frames, but it only stands to reason that QTVR can convert from a QT movie... but then, (...) (25 years ago, 6-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

I just put a patched ldlite on my site. The repackaged binary is at (URL) the source is at (URL) someone confirms that these actually work then I'll add them to the main ldglite page there. This version should work with paths with space characters (...) (25 years ago, 6-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Paul: (...) Yes (what a mess). As a mathematician and physicist I prefer right-hand rectangular coordinate systems with the first two coordinates (x and y) in the plane and the last coordinate (z) having the positive direction up. The units should (...) (25 years ago, 6-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
