That was a trick answer. I don't know how and I am hoping someone will say how. I think MLCad takes the center of the grouping bounding rectangle. It certainly doesn't seem to be based on the origin. I had a submodel that I made sure had its 0,0,0 (...) (25 years ago, 26-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

I am pretty purist myself and can't see using clones or modeling with them (except in trains if some clone comes along and delivers what most trainheads want at acceptable quality levels), but I repeat my thesis: Why be exclusionary? Its time to make another thrust forward in the development of ldraw.org, and the winter season is the perfect time for it. So far, we've gotten the site up and its been a success.
