Re: Need for rect primitive with two or one edge?

Actually, in hindsight, I think maybe it was my brain that was missing. I thought it was missing rect2p.dat, but I just looked at my zip and there is was. It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to run it as a daily job anyway, if it doesn't take too (...) (22 years ago, 3-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives, lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Need for rect primitive with two or one edge?

(...) What was it missing? We did have a problem running out of disk space recently, that could have caused the trouble. (...) I've rebuilt the zip file. I should probably set that up to run as a daily job. Steve (22 years ago, 1-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives, lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Need for rect primitive with two or one edge?

(...) The Rectangle with 2 Parallel Edges (rect2p.dat) was already on the Parts Tracker. I've just added rect2a.dat (Rectangle with 2 Adjacent Edges) and rect1.dat (Rectangle with 1 Edge). I can't fix the zip file right now, but will try to get to (...) (22 years ago, 31-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives, lugnet.cad.dev)

  Ok, how do you...

Ok, thinking about making a custom Primative, for a project I am working on. Can someone go over the basics of how they are built? I think I have a good idea, but want to make sure my assumtions are correct. Thanks, Dwayne CastleBlocksCAD Yahoo! (...) (22 years ago, 31-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

Need for rect primitive with two or one edge?

Assuming these don't already exist (I looked for rect2.dat on Parts Tracker, but could find nothing -- speaking of which, the "complete" unofficial parts zip seems to be out of date, since it is missing some stuff): Would it be reasonable to create (...)   Rect primitive with one edge missing?

Is there a primitive for a rectangle with one edge missing? I can't seem to find one, and I think it would be useful. It certainly would for a part that I am currently working on -- reducing three lines of code to one, 48 times. If there isn't one, (...)   Re: "Clusters" of Studs?

  Re: "Clusters" of Studs?

(...) Hey, thanks for thinking of me! At present, I believe the only "official unofficial" stud primitives for the clone.dat project are studc.dat and stud2cl.dat.   Re: "Clusters" of Studs?

  Re: "Clusters" of Studs?

  "Clusters" of Studs?

Inspired by parts\s\4186a.dat, I would like to see "clusters" of studs, say 6 x 6 and 8 x 8. That would make a lot of part files *much* smaller. Maybe we could call them Stud36.dat and Stud64.dat? /Tore (22 years ago, 18-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)
