You're getting there Paul. There's still some clean up to be done.
First, when referring to subfiles in parts\s\, don't include a leading \:
Don't do:
1 16 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 \s\30303a.dat
Do:
1 16 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 s\30303a.dat
I'm not sure if LDraw ignores this or corrects for it.
In file 30303a.dat, you've got some primitives coded with color 24:
1 24 40 3.1 0 8 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 8 3-8edge.dat
2 24 35.5 3 6.8 35.5 1 6.8
1 24 40 2.9 0 -8 0 0 -3 0 0 0 0 8 1-4edge.dat
These should be color 16. Primitives always take color 16.
Unfortunately, both of these primitives should be inlined and trimmed so they
stop at the edge of the part. Right now, they continue further than they
should. One is visible when viewing the part upside down, the other is only
noticeable when rendering the part in wireframe or with a transparent color.
You may want to check out a spreadsheet I made, to help with finding line
intersection (and similar exciting topics):
<http://www.geocities.com/partsref/rotate.xls>
I believe there are some other lines which continue too far, but I haven't
scanned the entire file.
