Pretty good for a first part - well done.
One small comment re: the 1-4ring14 .. 1-4ring16 primitives, two of aren't
official, I believe.
If I interpret it correctly you are trying to make a 14 to 17 radius ring.
At least the 14-16 part of this could be done with a 2x scaled-up 1-ring7
primitive. In the past we have allowed overlapping concentric rings to avoid
overloading the primitives directory, and Steve Bliss has a useful Excel
sheet called Rotate to help calculate this (see
http://www.geocities.com/partsref/).
The only downside is a slight lack of quality when rendered as a transparent
part, but at this scale, I don't think that will be an issue.
