Andy,
Looks good!
I would suggest that the name be changed to Minifig Hat Cocked. A search for
"Historical Hats of the 1700's" landed me here:
http://www.sgaus.org/hist_fac.htm
where I found this description:
"COCKED HAT - A hat worn by officers with ceremonial uniforms commonly
refereed to as a "fore and aft" hat. During the 1700's the hat was worn
parallel to the shoulders, but in the 1800's was modified to be worn with
the points to the front and back. Wearing of the Cocked Hat was discontinued
on 12 October 1940."
Cheers!

| (...) would be better to go with Minifig Hat Bicorne. And part 2544 should be renamed Minifig Hat Tricorne. For KEYWORDS, the bicorne should include: bi-corner bicorn chapeau-bras[1] chapeau bras[1] cocked hat fore and aft hat 2-corner -- Steve 1) (...) (22 years ago, 14-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

| I've given a try at creating my first LDraw part. Here it is, the Minifig Hat Bi-Corner from the pirate line. I don't know what the official part number is. Please let me know what you think.
