I recently needed a set of 1-3 circular primitives (120 degrees) Before even addressing if these should be official primitives (as opposed to sub-parts), what do people consider the "best" way of constructing these? a) overlapping two 1-4 (or 3-16) (...) (18 years ago, 14-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

Thanks Travis, I'll have to remember that for next time. Thomas, I got the file you sent me and it works just fine... But it's missing a quad. Most of the problems you saw are a result of the file being posted in FTX mode. You can eliminate all but two BFC errors by doing the following: Click the "View Raw Message" link at the top right of Thomas's post Select all the DAT code Copy the (...) (18 years ago, 13-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

Part 2431px17.dat works great. However part x461.dat has issues. Heres the errors from LDVIEW. Thanks again. First BFC command isn’t the first action in file; changing to NOCERTIFY. Some clarification: (...) There have been two versions of this part: (URL) an older type with rectangular edges> and (URL) a newer type with rounded edges>, each one accepting a differend type of piston rod. We already have 3149a.dat, 3149b.dat and 3149c.dat in the official library, but used in a way that is contrary to the current practice. Nowadays we try to use different (...) (...) So you're having trouble with the "right hand" part, 43711.dat? There is no "mirror" of s\43710s01.dat - the reference from 43711.dat to the subfile does the mirroring. So no file is "missing" - it isn't needed. It *sounds* like something is (...) (18 years ago, 2-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) SNIP I saved that subfile-the mirror of that one is the one missing on the LDraw site (link goes to the same subfile). XFUT lugnet.admin.general (...) This is odd. When viewing my original posting through the web interface, the backslash between 'ldraw' and 'parts' is not displayed. I've tried downloading the files & subfiles (one subfile is missing-can't remember which now) & can't get them to work; onlt a stud shows up in MLcad jeff (18 years ago, 1-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)
