Re: Dinosaur Body Neck/Tail Ring (40375)

(...) Wow, it looks like you got a long way on it. But I don't think I'm the one to finish it at this time... I'm actually using the neck ring for a smokestack on a steam train, and idea I got from Jeremy Rear. -Matt :) ---...--- (...) (19 years ago, 31-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Reduced versions of BBB wheels

(...) Thanks Tim, yes I believe the originals are from a modelling tool. And I'll be first to admit, mine are not as accurate as the originals, I sacrificed accuracy for size. But they use a lot of primitives, which most LDraw renderers are able to (...) (19 years ago, 31-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

Re: Reduced versions of BBB wheels

(...) So thats what you and Tim were talkin about yesterday, I was most confused. Your new versions look as good as the originals, so the reduced file size was deinatly worth doing. The originals were huge (some sort of conversion from the CAD (...) (19 years ago, 31-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

Dinosaur Body Neck/Tail Ring (40375)  [DAT]

I needed the Dinosaur Neck Ring for a project I am working on so I designed it. It is my first part - fun stuff, I'll have to try another sometime. I have it submitted at ldraw.org, but I have a feeling the process is pretty slow to make it (...) (19 years ago, 31-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Reduced versions of BBB wheels

  Reduced versions of BBB wheels

I recently created reduced versions of the BBB train wheels. You can download the LDraw parts files (URL) here> (just copy them to your parts directory and run mklist).   Re: LDDP update (Was: "Y Column all zeroes")

(...) I'll look into this one. It probably stems from the routine used to determine if the first selected line is type 1 (...) I know why this one behave the way it does and I'll fix this. Thanks for the reports, please keep them coming. -Orion (19 years ago, 30-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: LDDP update (Was: "Y Column all zeroes")

  Re: "odd" rings

(...) Yes, use 2 rings. Rings and cones are one of the few exceptions we make regarding overlapping quads/triangles.
