Tony, My rubberbelt generator (or the derived one included in MLCad) can be used to generate toruses using 4-4cyli primitive. Jake, From your detailed descriptions and pictures (thanks) , it looks to me like the piece you are looking for is 2819.dat (which is an official piece already). If you look closely at Classic Windows, you'll find that there are diffeences in many details. See (URL) for the details I have found. See suggested 27a.dat, 27b.dat, and 27c.dat (recently posted).
