  Re: New Part: Slope Brick 55 1 x 6 x 5

This part needs to be renumbered to 30249. (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Numbering of the Parts (was "Brick 2 x 2 with 2 Pins")

(...) Thanks! In light of this new information, I'll need to redesignate the 1x2 w/ 2 pins as part #30526 Thanks again!!! (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Numbering of the Parts (was "Brick 2 x 2 with 2 Pins")

(...) As I understand it, the majority of the parts manufactured by LegoCo have a 3, 4, or 5-digit number stamped on the part, usually somewhere discrete, such as the "underside" of a brick. Our dedicated spies find these numbers and periodically (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

New Part: Brick 1 x 2 with 2 Pins  [DAT]

I needed this for the 7166 Imperial Shuttle. I just took the 2458 piece and duplicated the pins.   Re: Duplo parts?

[this should go to either lugnet.cad.dat.parts...rimitives, or lugnet.cad.dev, but tight is the grip of inertia...] (...) That seems a bit thin for the walls. I'll dig out some DUPLO bricks, and look at them more closely. (...) Hmm. That's a height (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Duplo parts?

(...) As you noted, the logo should not be included (in LDraw). (...) So far, the flattened corners have been skipped on System-scale parts. Do the flattened corners deviate from a true circle by more than 1 LDU? If they do, then that adds weight to (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

New Part: Brick 2 x 2 with 2 Pins  [DAT]

I found this part is required for the 7166 Imperial Shuttle. I just copied the 2458 and duplicated the pin. I named it 2459. If that is incorrect, let me know. I have no idea how this numbering system works. Joe 0 Brick 1 x 2 with 2 Pins 0 ROTATION (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Pushing my posting-count up another notch, I forgot to hit this one point, so I'm making another reply... (...) 'Functional' or 'descriptive'? 'Brick' isn't a functional label, except indirectly. Anyway, the categories should fall along the lines of (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: 3960p01.dat - Space Radar Dish 4 x 4 with Red/Green Petals pattern

(...) Right. Except that I seriously think Train should stay. There are many parts which are fairly Train-specific. But there are number of current Train parts that should be moved into other areas. (...) Right. But there are more pressing issues, (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: 3960p01.dat, "CYLINDER??? Radar Dish 4 x 4 - Red/Green Petals"

(...) For now, leave out the 0 CATEGORY metastatement. AFAIK, all programs which look for 0 CATEGORY will grab the first word in the part title as the default category. Steve (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: missing lego-cad primitive: 1-4ring5.dat (modified - POV)

(...) By the way, do you intend to make your sources available? Maybe event on sourceforge? Then, I could send patches to you instead of pestering you with my pleas for additions ;-) Regards, Hakan (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

Steve, Shouldn't this be (re)oriented, so that it's in the X>0&Z>0 quadrant? You did the plate that way. Franklin (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Part Requests  [DAT]

(...) And here's a mockup for the panel. I'm starting to dislike the "Cylinder" category. First, the name is too specific; there's an implied exclusion of cones, domes, etc. A general "Round" category would be better. The second problem with (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
