As I understand it, the majority of the parts manufactured by LegoCo
have a 3, 4, or 5-digit number stamped on the part, usually somewhere
discrete, such as the "underside" of a brick. Our dedicated spies
find these numbers and periodically post these numbers to ".cad",
so that we can maintain a current list of part numbers for the new parts.
Thus, somewhere on the underside of the ubiquitous 2x4 brick,
you should find the number "3001" stamped.
And, somewhere (probably on the underside, but no guarantees)
of this new part you've encoded, you should find a number
(probably five-digit, these days).
I hope this helps.

| I found this part is required for the 7166 Imperial Shuttle. I just copied the 2458 and duplicated the pin. I named it 2459. If that is incorrect, let me know. I have no idea how this numbering system works. Joe 0 Brick 1 x 2 with 2 Pins 0 ROTATION (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
