Rubber Black (was: New Part - 30187 Minifig Motorcycle with 3 Wheels Body)

This is a separate reply, because this stuff needed to be XFUT lugnet.cad.dev. (...) Or we (that's an inclusive we, not just Paul, Steve and Franklin) should make a decision on what we want to do with "rubber black". There's definitely precedent for (...)   Re: New Part - 30187 Minifig Motorcycle with 3 Wheels Body

(...) It's the only *current* category that makes sense. We may need to switch over to a generic "Vehicle" category at sometime. (...) I kinda like Tricycle. It *might* be confused with the DUPLO Tricycle, but I doubt it. (...) I'm thinking so, too. (...) (24 years ago, 15-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: New Part - 2527 Plate? 2 x 4 cannon base

(...) Ok, I will fix it and get it re-posted as an updated part. Thank you very much for your input. Paul (URL) (24 years ago, 15-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

pirate's head scarf... well... *sort of*... :-P  [DAT]

OK, this is a really, *really* crude mock-up, I'll be the first to admit, but I really needed something that I could use for this piece, no matter how ugly, as long as it looked *something* like the piece in question, plus there's been one or two (...)   Re: New Part - 2527 Plate? 2 x 4 cannon base

(...) The open end (i.e., the muzzle) should be pointed in the "negative-Z" direction (i.e., pointing "out" of the screen towards the viewer) when shown in a "front" view in MLCAD/L3Lab/[etc.]). Thanks, Franklin (Who has been thinking of creating a (...) (24 years ago, 15-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: New Part - x518 Cannon Pirate

(...) I will use "Minifig Accessory" as Steve recommended. (...) ok. (...) The cannons I have are the one piece design with the crossed cannon symbol on them. I can do the logo, but it will not look very good rendered. I tried to use as many POV (...) (24 years ago, 15-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: New Part - 2527 Plate? 2 x 4 cannon base

(...) If it doesn't matter much to anyone, I will rename these parts as Steve stated a few messages back; 2527.DAT Minifig Cannon 2 x 4 Base x518.DAT Minifig Cannon 2 x 8 Non-Shooting ( I measured it, end to end) I will categorize both parts as (...)   Re: New Part - 2527 Plate? 2 x 4 cannon base

(...) Hi Franklin, When you say to re-orient this part, do I need to point the open end of the barrel to the z+ or z- ? (for clarification) Also, I believe you said to also re-orient the base as well. I will turn it to match the cannon. Let me know (...) (24 years ago, 15-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: New Part - 30187 Minifig Motorcycle with 3 Wheels Body

(...) Thanks! They were a challenge. Especially to get all the parts to fit together. When I dis-assembled the base and the body, the base distorted slightly, and I had to find another assembled bike. (...) ok. (...) It was the only one that made (...)   Re: new lego-cad part: x474.dat, "Arm Piece with Towball and Stud"

(...) Really. How extraordinary. I must have been off my rocker when I made that part. I wonder if there was any particular reason I chose that measurement, or if I was just feeling rebellious. Thanks for pointing this out. I'll double-check the (...) (24 years ago, 14-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: New Part - 2527 Plate? 2 x 4 cannon base

(...) Since both the base and the barrel are unique pieces, neither really needs the dimension. It's not like there's a different cannon base. :) But it doesn't hurt to include the dimensions, either. And it could be useful someday, if LEGO ever (...) As a result of all the discussion about pattern numbers and file-naming conventions, I have decided to *re-name* the five "minifig faces" from the "Star Wars" line that I've encoded.
