  Re: BFC conversion effects

(...) Note to anyone, to avoid confusion: no primitives have *officially* been converted to BFC. Axel may have grabbed my set of unofficial conversions. (...) Sounds like the right way. We should try to minimize use of INVERTNEXT. A flip is better (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Spyrius Torso

Does anyone have plans to do the Spyrius torso in the near future? I could really use it for a project and would be willing to offer an $8.00 TRU certificate or unopened 6538 (rebel roadster) for the job to be completed within the next couple of (...)   Re: Looking for minifig hairpieces

(...) Check Anton's Lego library for the minifig hair you want! (URL) only catch is that his lego parts are defined directly in PovRay code. That means you have to make your minifig (minus the hair), convert it with L3P to PovRay, include Anton's (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  BFC conversion effects

When I was rendering a DAT file I just created, I noticed that the rounded corners of part 10p03 "baseplate 24 x 32 with set 358 dots pattern" didn't come out in the rendered picture (the studs in the plates corners were free-floating :-). I dug (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Looking for minifig hairpieces

(...) Yeh - I'm working on the regular male hair when I get time - I am not rushing it as I want to make a good job of it. Others _may_ follow, but the smooth ones are tricky enough, so the ridged ones are going to be very hard. Please be patient - (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Looking for minifig hairpieces

(...) According to Tore's Temporary Part Tracker ((URL) least the male hair is being worked on. If you want other parts made you can submit them as "Wanted" to the tracker.   Looking for minifig hairpieces

Do they exist? If not, are they on a waiting list somewhere? I'd love to see some made.. Just my $0.02.. And btw, my continual thanks to all involved for the great job in turning out new parts. I love the way my renders (as well as most others') (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Repost: New Part: 30246 Castle Wall 3 x 4 x 6

(...) Yes, I believe so. I think it belongs to one of my sons. Don't worry, I returned it to them... :-) It was just looked too easy to do, only took me a couple hours. Paul (24 years ago, 8-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  New Part: 30246 Castle Wall 3 x 4 x 6

Hello, I found this part the other night and couldn't resist the urge to model it, so here it is... Any corrections to the part name, any keywords, or other information would be appreciated. Paul See a picture here; (URL) (24 years ago, 7-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

2737 "Technic Steering Arm Large" MOCKUP  [DAT]

This is not a part at all. It is just a collection of shapes designed to indicate the geometric properties of the real part. Please finish off your so called "ute" now, JW. Often, parts with one asymmetric axis (ie, parts with a sense of 'front and back' or 'left and right' or even 'base and tip') are oriented with the (...)   Re: New Part: 30248 Helicopter skids (WAS) Re: Looking for parts

(...) Are you sure about that? It has always been my impression that "long" things face the X direction in LDraw. Take a look at the Car Bases, for example, a majority of them span the X axis. I can't see why the helicopter base shouldn't. Fredrik (24 years ago, 5-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: New Part: 30248 Helicopter skids (WAS) Re: Looking for parts

(...) How about the 'Plane' category? The existing categories for vehicle-related pieces are Boat, Car, Plane and Train. Out of those, Plane seems like the best bet to me.
