  Anchored version  [DAT]

Okay, here's the anchored version. Just back 'er into the skirting and unhitch. Complete with used-tire planters. I *though* about removing the tires from a ferrari and jacking it up on blocks, but I couldn't do that to such a nice car. Mebbe I'll (...) (25 years ago, 14-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Woo--hoo! Here goes the neighborhood! (single-wide trailer)  [DAT]

Like I said before, I can't help it. The redneck's bred in. I figure that once industry starts moving into a town, there ought to be a reasonable housing alternative. (I am soooo bad!). Duane Hess's "Big Rig" is in position to haul, but commented (...) (25 years ago, 14-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Triplex  [DAT]

I lived on the top floor of this house while in college. The stairs are about a rickety as I could make them (textured steel--murder in the rain, and oh, how they shook and quivered. Very challenging while drunk). It was also my first experience in (...) (25 years ago, 14-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Datsville: Safe House  [DAT]

  Re: Datsville--Town Hall

(...) too (...) large. (...) It's just perfect--and it's smaller than what *I* was planning, that's for sure. Actually reminds me of a building back home. I like how you made it modular. Saves time--easily expanded/shrunk. Good job. Brian (bbq) (...) (25 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Datsville: crane

The idea is that you start with the crane and a 32x32 area (or larger if you wish) and then gradually build a building underneath it. I'd be willing to give you a building in pieces as I cad it so we get the right effect. I have a cool design that (...) (25 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Datsville: crane

That's why the top and the arm are seperate units. The top and arm have the bottom and top of a 4x4 turnstyle. KL (...) (25 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Datsville: crane

----- Original Message ----- From: Kevin Loch <kloch@opnsys.com> (...) .mpd is the way to go for this type of thing. I want to seriously plug M-Peedy for anyone using LDAO.   ldlite

I hope this is in the right group... (sorry if it isn't) When rendering models in LDLite with rotation on and continuous display, I noted that that kind of setup would make an awesome screensaver, especially if the model is large, i.e. a home from (...)   Re: Datsville: crane2 (exponents?)

(...) If not a bug, at least a nit. I think if you open the file in LDAO's editor, select the whole text and MoveExact by 1, then move it all back, LDAO will get rid of the exponents. -John Van (25 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Datsville: crane2 (exponents?)  [DAT]

For some reason, the lines with exponents don't render in ldlite when I use the dat hyperlink in web mode. ldlite, ldraw and l3p/povray render them fine locally. I made it in MLcad. Is this a bug? There is no need for e-15 exponents anyway so I (...) (25 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Datsville--Town Hall

(...) It conceivable. I haven't put it in the town yet, so it may actually be too big. I've got the space for it, but it may look out of place being so large. It's a government building, so it's supposed to look oversized, with 12-15 foot ceilings (...) (25 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Datsville: crane  [DAT]

I'm posting this as a mpd this time. Sooner or later Datsville is going to need an office building for it's residents to work in. This is a modular crane that can be adjusted in height for any project, and the arm can be rotated about the crane top. (...) (25 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Datsville PD Airwing Building  [DAT]
