    Lunar Rover (foldable) —Axel Poqué
This is a variation of my original lunar rover. The Apollo Lunar Rover (LRV) had to be folded for stowing it in the Lunar Module (LM) due to space considerations. I was able to make this work, but unlike the original I had to use two sets of hinges (...) (24 years ago, 14-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: Lunar Rover (foldable) —Steve Bliss
Does anyone have a pointer to a website with details of *how* the Lunar Rover folded (and was stowed in the LM)? I did some preliminary searching, and found some great Apollo information (that I intend to go back to and reread in depth), but only (...) (24 years ago, 15-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: Lunar Rover (foldable) —Larry Pieniazek
(...) Who is Neil? I think the Rover was an extra cost option that was only available on later model years... IIRC only 17,18, and 19 had it. (15 and 16 had a little cart that you pulled???) Mr Armstrong only went on 11. (24 years ago, 16-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: Lunar Rover (foldable) —Steve Bliss
In case you didn't see, Axel provided a link to a QuickTime movie record of the unfolding of the LRV during Apollo 15. www.hq.nasa.gov/offi...lrvdep.mov It looks like the LRV was both "in" and "on".
